Privacy Policy
I. Privacy Policy
Bullion Note is designed to be local-first. By default, your holdings, weights, costs, notes, and valuation-related data are stored only on the current device. No account is required to use the core recording and valuation features.
You may choose to sign in with Google or Apple. After sign-in, the server stores account identifiers in Cloudflare D1, including email address, display name, third-party provider user ID, and session records used to maintain sign-in state. The app uses a session cookie named bullionnote_session to keep you signed in for about 30 days.
You can sign out in the app, and you can delete your account in the app. Account deletion deactivates the current account and signs out signed-in devices.
Market quotes are fetched through the app server proxy. Quote requests are not linked to your holdings. Your holdings do not leave your device unless you export them yourself.
Local backup export happens only when you choose to export. The generated bullion-note-backup.json file is handed to the system share sheet, and you choose where to save or send it.
Bullion Note does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, does not show ads, and does not sell your data.
If this policy is updated, the update will be shown in the app.
II. User Agreement
Bullion Note is a precious-metals recording and valuation tool. Prices, valuations, material value, and recovery reference amounts in the app are for recordkeeping and reference only. They are not investment advice, trading advice, or a committed recovery quote.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for safeguarding exported backup files. Risks caused by incorrect entries, device loss, improper backup storage, or third-party storage destinations remain your responsibility.
The service is provided as is. We may update features, presentation, and terms as needed for product operation, with notice shown in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated content.
Disclaimer & Data Sources
In the app, “material value” = weight × purity factor × Shanghai gold spot reference price (CNY/g).
Material value is not a jewelry-store retail price. Retail prices often include labor fees, brand premiums, channel costs, and other charges, so they use a different basis.
Material value is also not the amount you will receive from a recycler. “Recovery reference” = material value × adjustable discount factor. It is provided only to help estimate a possible recovery range; the actual amount depends on the recycler’s inspection, pricing method, and final quote.
Market data is aggregated for reference and may be delayed, incomplete, or inconsistent. Actual trading, settlement, purchase, or recovery prices should follow the trading system, financial institution, or store quote.
Bullion Note is an asset recording and valuation tool. Nothing in the app constitutes investment advice.
